To enable customers to use their TeamForge site, you have to create a license key for
them.

Ask the forge.collab.net site administrator for membership
in the SourceForge License Key Generation project.

In your My Projects list, go to the
SourceForge License Key Generation project.

Click License Key Gen in the project navigation
bar.

In the Registered Name field, supply the name of the
customer that owns the site.
- If you are setting up a new site, consult the customer to choose a
unique but sensible name. It's common to use the customer's company name, or
the URL of the site.
- If you are creating a new license for an existing site, go to on the site, and copy the value of Registered
To into the Registered Name
field.

Provide the IP address of the site.
If you are creating a license for an existing site, you can get this from the page.
Tip: If there's any doubt about the IP address,
check with the IT group responsible for installing and maintaining the
site.

Provide the number of users of each type and the expiration date specified in
the customer's contract.
- An ALM license enables you to use the full set of tools on the site, including
Source Code, Trackers, Documents, Tasks and Reports.
- An SCM license enables you to use the site for basic source code management. You can
browse repositories and participate in Wiki conversations.

Click Generate License Key.

Copy the generated license key and deliver it to the customer.
